People start in the profession without serious preparation,without sufficient knowledge of writing techniques and genres and completely ignorant of journalists’ professional code of ethics. The training also applies to new information and communication technologies (IT). The legal environment should remove the threat of the law being used against the media and journalists. This reform of the legal framework is not in any way designed to place the journalist above the law, as some authorities would argue.
